You should always have a non-lethal, but effective personal defense device. It has to be one that will be in your hand whenever exposed to attack, must be operable in a split second without fine motor skills and must have the capability to stop drug impaired and multiple attackers, incapacitating them long enough for you to get far, far away.

Therefore, it must be non-weapon in appearance, force-indexed and secured in your hand so it is not dropped during an attack. It’s even better if it can alert others the way the D.A.D.® 2 (Defense Alert Device) does.
